iPhone developer team has churned out new version of Redsn0w / Redsnow to allow you to do untethered jailbreak on the iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. This guide is different from the one that I wrote few days back (iPhone 4.3.3 tethered jailbreak) as this one does untethered jailbreak which means you would not have to jailbreak your device again after every reboot. Ready? Follow this guide carefully.

If you have not upgraded yet to the iOS 4.3.3 and want to stay jailbroken on iOS 4.3.2, feel free to follow these guides:
- iPhone 4.3.2 windows Jailbreak – Untethered
- iPhone 4.3.2 redsnow jaillbreak – tethered
- iPhone 4.3.2 pwnagetool jailbreak – tethered
First, download the latest firmware (iPhone 4.3.3 IPSW) to your desktop and update your iPhone to the latest firmware using iTunes if you have not already done that. Download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 from the links given at the bottom of the post. Start the app.

Click Next and select “install cydia”.

Now, turn your iPhone off and plug it in to the computer before you click on the next button. Now, you will be told to enter DFU mode. In order to do that, hold the power button for 1 second and then while holding it, press the home button as well. Then, after few seconds, while holding the home button, release the power button. Installation should begin now.

Wait for sometime for the Redsnow utility to do the work for you. In the end, your iPhone will reboot and you will have a fully jalibroken iPhone with Cydia installed.

Note – if your iPhone is dependent on carrier unlock, then follow the iPhone 4.3.3 pwnagetool jailbreak guide.
