Here is a plugin that lets you access all of your favorite apps as icons right from the notification center. This plugin / app is a freeware but you must jailbreak your iPhone (or iPod Touch / iPad) before you can install it.
Search for Appscenter in cydia. It is there in the bigboss repository. Keep in mind that you must enable the widget from the settings > Notifications before you see it in the notification center. Other configuration options can be accessed under the Settings.
